WE'D LOVE TO HAVE YOUR SONG, PICTURE, AND SINGER PROFILE FOR THE PLAYLIST AT KWR.

FIRST: RECORD YOUR SONG.
      Local studios and karaoke kiosks can be great places, or you can record them on your own computer.
     You can download an excellent FREE recording and editing program. It is called Audacity, available at: http://audacity.sourceforge.net/.   Audacity can also be used to change songs already saved on your computer in other formats, such as .wma or .wav, to .mp3 files.
     Once you have Audacity or another recording and editing program, you can set up your own studio. An excellent, inexpensive mixer is the Behringer Xenyx 802, available for $60 at www.samedaymusic.com.   Just plug the output of the mixer into your computer's sound card.
     Another simple, inexpensive way to record, using any karaoke song on your computer, is to use a program made specifically for recording vocals with karaoke songs. We recommend Siglos Karaoke Player Recorder ($49).  It is available at www.powerkaraoke.com/src/prod_siglos-karaoke-player-recorder.php. The program works well with all karaoke file types.
     PLEASE, NO SONG SUBMISSION LINKS. We cannot take your song directly from another website, such as a social networking site. You must record your song, and email it to us as an mp3 file. However, if you have additional songs on a social networking site, we'll be happy to publish a link to them if you include the link in your bio.

SECOND: SUBMIT YOUR SONG, SINGER PROFILE, AND PHOTO.
     Once your song has been recorded, you'll send it to us as an mp3 attached to an email. Also, please attach a wallet-photo type picture of you to be used with your bio. Make it approximately square. We prefer a .jpg at 50 x 50 pixels.
     A setup fee of $9.95 applies to each song you submit.  With your first paid song submission, your initial Singer Profile setup is free. Updates to your Singer Profile or Picture are $4.95.
